Stuimig

Stuimig - Barrel-aged wild blonde ale with white lilac. A complex balance, an outspoken experience. If you like fruity beers with a floral, candy-like accent you can completely give yourself to Stuimig. The fragrant white lilac flowers (picked in a friend's garden) were macerated in the beer for one week and create a seductive aroma reminiscent of peach and other stone fruit. Underneath lies a basis of barrel-aged beer with redcurrants and gooseberries from foodforest Ketelbroek, which are mostly present in juicy acidic notes. Stuimig was aged on a single oak barrel for 19 months. Limited edition. Stuimig forms a twin release with Sereen, a yin and yang of white and purple lilac flowers. We created two completely different beers to underline the individual qualities of the lilacs. The idea comes from our brewers Robbert and Vincent, who each chose a lilac variety to pair with a matching beer from our barrelhouse. Stuimig is the signature beer of Robbert and Sereen is the signature beer of Vincent. 5.8% ABV [Batch #1: bottled on 28 MAY 2020]
