Worse Things Have Happened

As we inch closer to the end of the year, we wanted to get together with our friends to make some cool beers and the first one this week is getting back with the Black Project Spontaneous & Wild Ales crew to brew a new version of our hazy collab, but this time we’re kicking it up from a single to a DOUBLE IPA. Just like previous versions of this collab, we’re using a finished sour beer from Black Project to adjust the pH in the kettle before the hop addition. We sour the wort on the hot side in our juicy IPA brew process already to reduce the bitterness and enhance the final beer, so we figured, why not sour it with a beer from one of the best in the game? This time out we hopped this one with a killer combo of Citra, El Dorado, and Motueka so you know that juicy, tropical fruit goodness will be there too.
